The New England District Church of the Nazarene Undergraduate Scholarship Program exists to encourage and support students pursuing Christ-centered undergraduate education within the Church of the Nazarene, continuing the local church’s historic commitment to higher education. Recognizing the vital role young adults play in the ongoing mission of the Church, this scholarship invests in those who demonstrate faithful participation in their local congregation and a commitment to academic and spiritual growth through Nazarene higher education.
One-year scholarships are available for the 2026-2027 academic year. Scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $2500 (split across two semesters). Students who meet both of the following criteria may apply:
Active participation in a local Church of the Nazarene on the New England District. Active participation will be assessed and determined by the local church board, with verification by the lead pastor(s) and church board secretary. Participation should demonstrate regular involvement in worship, youth activities, and other ministries in at least the twelve months preceding the application.
Enrollment in an undergraduate program at an institution of higher education affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene.

Submission Deadline - May 15, 2026
Award Announcement - June 25-26, 2026
Funds Disbursement - August, 2026 (fall semester) and January, 2027 (spring semester)
Scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to the school of enrollment.
Application will be available here on this site in mid-January.
